Accomplishments of
College of Sciences Workshops
The
Workshop has provided all Departements with its services,
including maintainance of electrical and erlectronic devices
and manufacturing all of what Departments need, and it
assisted both postgraduate students and staff with their
research projects.
The Carpentry Workshop:
In addition to its daily tasks of making boxes for mice,
snakes, rabbits and insects in the Departments of Zoology
and Biochemistry, the carpentry Workshop has also made
showcases in Buildingds 4 and 5 for the publications of some
faculty, in addition to showcases for cups, medals and coats
of arms won by the College.
In
accordance with inter-college co-operation, the Workshop has
also assisted the Colleges of Engineering, Architecture,
Planning and Agriculture and Women Colleges in Al-Malaz.
The
Glass Factory:
In
addition to offering services to College's Departments and
to the Research Center and to assisting faculty and students
with their research projects, the Workshop also provides
great assistance to Colleges of Engineering and Agriculture
and to the branch in Al-Qasseem> as concerns the Glass
Factory, I recommend that Saudi yoths be appointed and
trained qualified, since there are no staff in the field of
co-operation between colleges to assist the Colleges of
Agriculture, Engineering and Women Colleges.
 The
Mechanic Workshop:
It offers
all kinds of mechanic work needed for student andfaculty
reserarch, in addition to answering the needs of
Departments.
The Electronics Workshop:
This
workshop has repaired all electronic and electric equipment
in the departments. The following is a table that shows
