The department of applied medical sciences is a vibrant and ever growing department. There are two undergraduate programs, the Medical Equipment and Nursing programs within the department. The department will strive for excellence through several aspects. This pursuit encompasses:

·         Education - To provide the best possible educational experience for students as we empower them to effectively apply their increasing knowledge in their field of speciality.

·         Research - To stimulate and foster scientific research in applied medical sciences for the creation and/or evaluation of new knowledge, particularly as it relates to health care.

·         Community Service - To engage our faculty and staff in providing both the help and support for health care bodies of our community.
