Huraimla  is one of the most beautiful agricultural cites near the capital Riyadh, with more than 100,000 inhabitants.  The Community College was established in 2004 by Royal Decree to serve the people of Huraimla and surrounding towns. It is one of the newest colleges affiliated with King Saud University, with classes starting in 2006.

The main purpose of establishing this college is to attract students from towns around Riyadh and provide them with an education that will make them valuable contributors to the Saudi work force and society.
