The Department of Applied Medical sciences was established in the 1st semester of the academic year 1424-1425. This department offers a career program that gives students the Associate degree in Medical Equipment or Nursing, with a view to train the students to work in these two fields. The program has five semesters including one semester training in hospitals. The department has 10 modernized labs in medical equipments and 14 labs in nursing. It has the unique distinction of being a nursing learning resource centre, first of its kind in the university.
