About College Career Program Transfer Program

 Community College in Al-Riyadh

Arriyadh Community College, the latest in the university, was founded by virtue of the Council of Ministers’ decree no. 73 issued on 5/3/1422. The first batch of students, 900 in number, joined the college at the commencement of the second semester of the academic year 1423-1424. The college has five departments: Physical Sciences, Applied Medical Sciences, Computer Science, Administrative Sciences, and Arts and Education. The regular study program at the Community College consists of at least four academic semesters. Students take at least 64 academic credits that count towards graduation. The departments have the right to add a semester or more according to the nature and need of every specialization since a specialization may require a foreign language, a preparatory program, a participatory training, or a practicum period before joining the labor market.

 Foundation

Arriyadh Community College was founded by virtue of the Council of Ministers’ decree no. 73 issued on 5/3/1422 (2001). The first batch of students, 900 in all, joined the college at the commencement of the second semester of the academic year 1423-1424 (2002-3). The college includes five departments: Physical Sciences, Applied Medical Sciences, Computer Science, Administrative Sciences, and Arts and Education.

Goals

§      Increasing the university’s capability to accommodate a larger number of students in transfer and career programs.

§     Offering university-level studies for students in transfer programs at high economic efficiency.

§    Giving students who are unable to pursue their studies the opportunity to obtain a degree that will professionally enable them to join the College Career Program.

§   Offering career programs that support plans for qualifying and employing Saudis.

Period of Study
