The Foundation of the college

The Community College in almajmaa, which is under the authority of  King Saud University, was founded according to Council Ministers’ decree no. 73 dated 5/3/1422, on the recommendation of the supreme Economic Council.

The Community College in almajmaa, the latest in the university have received students at the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 1425-1426. The college has five departments: Physical Sciences, Applied Medical Sciences, Computer Science, Administrative Sciences, and Arts and Education.

College objectives

1.    support for the university`s ability to accommodate more students by  accepting them  in transfer and career programs

2.    Offering university-level study for students in transfer programs with high economical efficiency.

3.    Giving students who are unable to pursue their studies for academic reasons the opportunity to attain a degree that will professionally qualify them by joining the College career program.

4.    Offering career programs that support plans for qualifying and employing Saudis.
