There are two types of academic programs : the transfer program and the career program.
First : the Transfer program
Definition :
This program does not end in academic degree but qualifies the student to join the university after completing the course successfully according to the requirements proposed by the college through coordination with relevant colleges considering the majors which the students desire to complete. This program offers the majors proposed by the university council. In this program the students are supervised and followed up properly from the beginning of the course and in all stages of study. In case it is evident that the student does not fulfill the main study requirements which govern joining the university, the student therefore is guided to join the career program according to the suitable requirements proposed by the college council.
The objectives of transfer program :
1. Providing opportunities to the largest number of students to join the majors needed in the labor market.
2. Providing the higher university levels in some departments with students to guarantee the presence of sufficient students with high efficiency.
3. Decreasing the rate of drop out students in the kingdom through accepting the students who lack higher rates that enable them to join the university directly.
The syllabus of the transfer program :
The period of study in this program is two years and the syllabus includes the same syllabus approved for the first four levels in the same major in the university and the students have free choice to join any of the courses they see suitable after having been supervised by the academic supervision in the college.

A. Accounting
B. Mathematics
C. English language
Second : The Career program
Definition :
In this program the student obtains (associate degree), which is equivalent to the diploma of intermediate colleges. This program offers applied majors that indicate a real need in the labor market and these majors are proposed by the college council and approved by the university council.
The objectives of career program :
1. Qualifying the students in the majors that are most needed in the labor market and does not need a university degree.
2. Offering opportunities to the college students who are unable to continue their study for academic reasons in the transfer program to obtain a degree that enables them to get jobs.
3. Offering opportunity to the university students who are unable to continue their study for academic reasons to obtain a degree that enables them to get jobs.
The syllabus of the career program :
The study period in this program is two years and half, and includes 64 units minimum. Besides the requirements preparatory or training programs. These units are distributed as follows :

Remarks:
The student has the right to transfer to the university colleges if he fulfills the conditions of transfer, also any student in the college has the right to apologize for studying the semester after being approved by the dean of the college. The apology application must be submitted before the final exams in duration not less than five weeks.
