Vision and Goals

 

The College of Dentistry plays a vital role in the various health communities in the Kingdom to raise health issue awareness in general and in dentistry in particular.

 

The students’ activities in coordination with the College administration is wholly dedicated to fostering patient care in dentistry by providing extensive dental health outreach programs in their weekly community service.

 

1.                Blood Donation Week

 

The Blood Donation Week is one of the most important activities carried out by the students in coordination with the hospitals. They conducted appropriate services for blood donors and blood drive volunteers, and provided pertinent information about blood banking to patients.

 

 

2.                Oral Health Week

 

The College of Dentistry conducted a series of activities during the Oral Health Week to educate members of the community about the value of good dental health, how to maintain good oral hygiene and give information on the latest developments in dental sciences. They also held lectures and symposia conducted by a number of faculty members with the support and participation of various medical/dental companies.
