The First Awareness Week…A Great step

                Under the patronage of his Excellence Director of King Saud University the Department of Preventive Dental Science is proud to organize the first awareness week for preventive dentistry with association of Saudi Dental society and these governmental sectors:

·         Ministry of Health.

·         Health Services in Security Forces.

·         Health Services in Armed Forces.

·         Health Services in National Guard.

·         Ministry of Education

·         King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center.

And the main objectives of this week are:

1.       Increase the awareness about preventive knowledge of the community through displaying specialized healthy experiences in right educational way and raise the correct healthy sense of the community individuals in the importance of maintaining healthy mouth and teeth.

2.       Combining the effort of concerned organizations in community service to enrich and establish combined responsibility to improve oral health and control oral diseases.

The organizing committee is thankful to all participants who organized this week and made it successful. Also, we are hoping that the concept of preventive awareness week to be continued and implemented in a yearly basis inshallah
