Definition:

            Higher studies program  has been commenced at the department in the first semester of the academic year 1396 /1397 on the master level , where it was counted as the first program in this University.

The program contains  the following  three lines:-:

1-      The creed

2-      Exegesis  & Hadith ( Prophet sayings)

3-      Jurisprudence and Fundamentals.

The program has been opened for female students at the first semester of the academic years 1413 /1414 Phd. program  has been commenced in the first semester of the academic year.1422- 1424

In the jurisprudence (FIQH) and fundamentals then, HADITH ( Prophet sayings) and  EGEXESIS in the Academic year 1423 /1424 , then the creed in the academic years 1425/1426 for male and female students.

Program requirements:

Mastership program of the Islamic culture department requires to pass 36 study units  (  30 study of curriculums to be studied in three semesters, in addition to ( 6 study units) thesis specialty .

 Admission Requirements:

Article (13) from the consolidated ruleof the higher studies in universities states the followings:

Applicant shall be a Saudi national and non-Saudi should be granted  an official scholarship for higher students.

Applicants should obtain a university  degree from a Saudi university or another recognized university.

Should be medically fit with a  good conduct and behavior.

Present two recommendations from former  teachers.

Reference  of no objection from his employer if he is an employee.  

Board of university may add  another requirement to such general conditions if necessary.

Provided that  the students should obtain at least very. good  grade to be admitted (to Mastership stage)  higher students deanship board may accept  candidates of at  least Good degree  ) . Average shall not be less than (V. good)  for the Bachelor degree specialization..  .

Higher students deanship board and according to the recommendation of the department , along with the  College council (Board support   other conditions are necessary for admission. )

The department has added the following conditions :-

Pass a written exam , personal interview

Memorize five (5) parts of Q'uran (Unspecified).

Should obtain bachelor degree in Islamic studies

Should , at least obtained a V. good  grade .
