Welcome to the Research Center of the

College of Food and Agricultural Sciences

Agricultural Research Center (ARC) was established in 1978. It reflects the university’s emphases on the role of scientific research in fulfilling needs of the national development plans in general and agricultural ones in particular. The objectives of ARC include advocating and financing academic and applied agricultural research and publication of refereed agricultural research bulletins. ARC serves as a link between the college of agriculture and the private sector through an established service trust fund. Activities of ARC through the service trust fund include:   

                    •        Financing field and laboratory agricultural research.

        Analyzing specimens of agricultural materials and suggesting solutions and recommendations to agricultural problems in conjunction with the related departments.

        Encouraging and supporting financially for publishing educational, referential and academic books.

        The Agricultural Research Center (ARC) in the College of Food & Agricultural Sciences has been always active, working on the problems and the needs of the country’s agricultural development.
