The Agriculture Research and Experimental Station (ARES) is a vital unit in the College of Food and Agriculture Sciences. It is the place where agricultural

research is conducted and basic field training is offered for students in various specialties. The station plays a major role in agricultural awareness through its agricultural extension  and training programs in the area. The ARES was established since more than 3 decades to promote agricultural research and support all aspects of agricultural development and mechanization in the Kingdom. The work and duties are always progressing in the station due to the full support from the University personnel, College Dean. We proud that this research station in Dirab is among  the top in the country which furthers genuine agricultural development.
