Advertisement: The College of Food and Agricultural Sciences, represented by the Animal Production Department will host Professor Anton Baynin, one of the most publishing researchers in the field of animal nutrition and physiology, through the Scientist Fellowship Program. Professor Anton Baynin is from Utrecht University, at Netherland. Currently, he works at Rajamangala University for Science and Technology at Thailand. He will present a lecture titled: Dietary fatty acids: more than energy: The lecture will be presented on Saturday 14/5/1430 H, at 1:00 pm, at the college main theatre (1A 48). He will also present a second lecture for the graduate students at the Animal Production Department. The lecture title is: Calcium and magnesium requirements of high-producing cows: This lecture will be presented on Sunday, 14/5/1430 H, at 9:00 am, at the lecture room of the Animal Production Department, College of Food and Agricultural Sciences. |

Scientist Fellowship Program: The college of food and agricultural sciences represented by the Plant Protection Department hosts the Scientist Fellowship Program which is one of the six approved programs at King Saud University (KSU) during this year (2008), so far. An agreement was made between KSU represented by Professor Khalid Al-Mutlaq at the Plant Protection Department, college of food and agricultural sciences and Professor Bernd Simoneit, at Oregon State University, USA for scientific cooperation between them for the benefits of both sides. The contract was made for one year and is renewable. |
