Scientific visits 

Body

Three scientists who participated in the first workshop for the center of excellence in biotechnology made a visit to the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences on September 10, 2007.  They three scientists are: Prof. Ted Baker from New Zeland, Prof. Qutayba Hamid from Canada, and Prof Joseph Glossl from Austria.  The visit started with a general discussion session at the college club, which was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Department Heads, and some of interested faculty members.  Subsequently, they visited some departments such as the plant production department, the plant protection department, food science and nutrition department, and the animal production department.
