The president of King Saud University Prof. Abdullah Al-Othman has appointed Dr. Ibrahim M. Al-Helal to a two-year appointment as vice dean for administrative affairs, College of Food and Agricultural Sciences. The appointment takes effect June 25, 2007. Dr. Al-Helal served as Head of the Agricultural Engineering Department during the period from July 8, 2004 to June 24, 2007. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Agricultural Engineering at Ohio State University, and his B.S. in Agricultural Engineering at King Saud University.
