Dear Visitor:

 Welcome to the website of the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences, King Saud University.  I hope you will find the information in this site useful

 

 Administrative affairs focus on the administrative, operational and financial aspects of the college that are important to the smooth operation of the College.  The vice dean for administrative affairs oversees a broad range of college services including: the necessary needs for the work of the College, its faculty, students and staff, facilities, equipment, and resources.  He also guides employment and support staff, oversees the preparation of budgets, controls expenditures, accounts for the disbursement of all funds.

 The office of administrative affairs makes arrangements and coordinates the college council meetings.  Additionally, the vice dean is the secretary of the college council, and responsible for the college annual report.  He also is responsible for the outside-the-classroom activities of students at the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences.  Among these are cultural, social and sport activities that foster student learning and development, enhance students' experiences and prepare students to be contributing members of a diverse society.  

 The college has received awards at the University level for a number of achievements; the title for the university annual cultural tournament for five times (2000-2005).   Additionally, the office of administrative affairs is responsible for some support units such as computer and network unit, and some committees like students' affairs and graduates' relations that takes the responsibility of communicating with seniors and graduates and helping them to find jobs.  Also, the graduates' relations committee holds a business day annually at the college hall.  This fourth business day will be held this year.
