College of Food and Agricultural Sciences is one of the old applied collages at King Saud university. Applying developmental and international quality practices in teaching, research, and professionalism have been a common practice at this college. The final product for these practices is the dissemination of knowledge and providing specialty services through academic departments, unites , excellence centers, research chairs, and scientific societies that serve the Saudi community. These processes are consistent with each other in line with the Saudi Arabian higher education strategies.
Development and quality are two words that are repeated in various institutions and their general concept is to develop different processes according to the renewed customer needs and the outputs of these processes should meet such needs.
Development starts from developing the basic building block for any educational institution, namely, the academic department. And, of course, this involves developing the required inputs for the development of this entity, and thus, obtain the required output by applying new developments in the specialized department to meet market demands.
Quality is simply doing anything without fault from the first time and every time.
Therefore, development and quality require a clear strategy on which the restructuring of such work should be built on. This necessitate many required processes and documentation of such procedures to achieve these strategies, hence, the outcome will come to a true community partnership, Allah welling.
