 You are more than welcomed at the Department of Plant Protection. The aim of this site is to introduce you to one of the oldest scientific departments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the first plant protection department in the gulf countries. The department has been in existence since 1965, and is serving students and the public from the first day of its operation.
The department is consisted of three subdivisions, Entomology, Phytopathology, and Pesticides. Many qualified faculty members are teaching and doing research at this department, supported by a team of competitive employees. All of us at the Department of Plant Protection work as one team. The department has three teaching labs along with numerous research labs that are used by our department members.
We are working to achieve our Vision towards "A Better Agricultural Environment" through a defined mission and clear goals within a planed strategy.
