 WELCOME ... BIENVENIDOS...

As a language spoken by four hundred million people, Spanish has become the fourth most spoken language in the world after Chinese, English and Urdu. It is the mother tongue of Spain, and of more than twenty countries in South and Central America including; Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, El Salvador, Cuba, Chile, and Ecuador i.e., all South American countries excluding Brazil. It is also the language of Guinea in Africa, as well as of a large minority of thirteen million people in the United States of America. Considering the historical and cultural ties between Spain and the Arab world, the Spanish language has a special importance to Arab learners. Moreover, Spain has strong political, economic, and educational relations with the Arab world including Saudi Arabia. An Islamic center has been lately established in Madrid, Spain, and it is supposed to spread Islam in this country that used to be Muslim for about eight centuries in the past.
