  Labs and Facilities

During the last few years, there had been significant investment in The Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology. Most recently, the Welcome Trust/Joint Infrastructure Fund has enabled a complete refurbishment to provide modern laboratory space for the new 'Centre' which helped to upgrade many departmental facilities to a very high level. At the time of writing, the entrance lobby to the Anatomy Building and the Anatomy Lecture Theatre are also undergoing major refurbishment, and plans have been approved to remodel and refurbish several other areas to create cogent groupings of scientists in:

- Developmental Biology

- Molecular Biology

- Musculoskeletal/Evolutionary Studies

- Mouse early development
