General dermatology

Board certified dermatologists together with well trained nurses in this field see more than 150000 patients a year through our outpatient service. Common diseases (such as acne) and rare diseases(such as mycosis fungoidis) all seen in our clinics. Disease of the skin, hair and nail are screened , treated and followed up . our centre serves as a referral centre for the whole kingdom.

DermatoSurgery

we are a referral centre for dermatolgical diseases that need surgical interventions we perform various surigal procedure from simple excision of cysts , nevi and benign tumors to exision of skin cancer done by our Moh's dermatosurgeon Dr Mohammed Alhadab.

Phototherapy/Laser  unit

Vitiligo, psoriasis and other disease are treated with PUVA and NBUVB in this unit. The unit receives more than 2300 patients a year and is considered a tertiary centre where patitens are referred too from all parts of the kingdom.The department is well equipped with the latest in laser technology. Vascular lesions are referred to and treated in our centre. In addition there is also various lasers for pigmentary lesions , scars and resurfacing. We were one of the first centres in the region to add excimer laser for vitiligo to our arsenal.

VENEROLOGY

Through our STD clinic , we provide full screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases In addition to counseling for patients and their spouses.

Allergy clinic

Specialized dermatologists in this field offer their expertise in eczema, contact dermatitis and occupational dermatitis , with the appropriate and latest tests (Patch test, RAST). There are usually screened in Wednesday mornings , and later followed in allergy clinic on Tuesdays.
