The College of Medicine aims to graduate efficient doctors, in addition to providing great health care for society.  It endeavors to stimulate the progress of medical and scientific   research in all specializations of the College, particularly in fundamental medical sciences (Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology) and preparatory clinical sciences (Medical medicine, Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology). Clinical sciences include many majors, such as Social Medicine, Internal Disease, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Obstetrics, Anesthesia and Intensive Care. The College also has a Center for Permanent Medical Education, Advanced Studies Center, and a research center which includes many scientific and medical research and studies. The methods of teaching in the College include lectures, discussion courses, scientific courses and clinical training. Audio and Visual technology is available to doctors and students alike. The Joint Council for Advanced Medical Studies was founded by the College which contributes to organizing the activities of continued medical education programs effectively. The College, along with the Center of Medical Research and King Abdul Aziz City for Sciences and Technology, provide financial support for various research projects. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in conferences and symposiums in and out of the Kingdom. In conclusion, we thank Allah for our progress, then the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty Crown Prince and His Highness Second Deputy Premier for supporting and encouraging education, especially medical education.
