Department of Pathology is one of the Academic Departments, Faculty of Medicine, King Saud University. Pathology is that branch of medicine that has major responsibilities and leadership in activities related to research, patient care and Medical Education.

Pathologists utilize procedures and methodologies derived from fundamental basic research to provide information regarding diagnosis and prognosis and to help in the design of therapeutic strategies.
