Chairman Message:

It was my honor to be a member of the Department of Psychiatry and the College of Medicine, King Saud University, hence it is the pioneer and leader to promote psychiatry all over the Kingdom. I took the leadership when it was a division in 1994 till 1997 and recently from 2003 till now.

Our department has the honor to be the leader in the Kingdom in developing Psychiatry Training Residency Programmes, Psychiatry Subspecialties and Psychiatry Education and Awareness in medical setting and public.

I hope it will be the mission of this Department all through, the leadership of psychiatry development in our great Kingdom.
