Objectives

1.      Teaching and training of undergraduate medical students in Psychiatry.

2.      To provide a quality standard of psychiatric care to the patients.

3.      To provide a unique postgraduate training in Psychiatry.

4.      To provide in-service training for paramedical staff like psychology, social work, nursing, occupational therapy and others.

5.      Promotion of psychiatric research, particularly in the Saudi culture psychiatry.
