Dean's Message

  While a new addition to the university, the College of Law and Political Science dates back forty years.  It was formed out of two departments.

  The Political Science Department was founded over four decades ago.  The Law Department was founded twenty-seven years ago.

  These two departments were under the umbrella of the College of Business Administration.

These two departments have graduated one generation after another of quality students who have been serving their country and their king, and have filled many important positions in government.

  Many of the faculty and deans of the college have become ministers, ambassadors, bank managers, and CEOs of many institutions.

  At present, the College is proud to have among its faculty a number of distinguished professors whose academic and cultural contributions have enriched the libraries of Arab institutions of higher education.  Some of our professors have gained recognition as distinguished specialists in their fields in the Arab world and in the region at large.  The College has been expanding to accommodate a larger number of students and faculty.

  It also has increased its different offerings to include the major specialties in law including general law, civil law, criminal law, commercial law, in addition to jurisprudence and political science.  The present plan calls for unifying the College’s offering at the undergraduate level for all law students.  All of the specialties will be offered at the post-graduate level.
