Introduction
It is well known that scientific research is the basis for any economic development . The Nation's building process requires among other priorities, that of studies, analysis and synthesis .
The tools of progress are only made available through research and scientific enquiries , where else these tasks are to be met other than in specialized schools and universities ? Sophisticated legal devices and performing institutions are the trade mark of the postmodern society .
In Saudi Arabia, noticeable efforts are being deployed in all sectors of activity in order to modernize the legal frames and institutions and to make them more efficient.
The law department which was founded in 1399-1400 within the School of administrative Sciences has by nowday acquired a certain know how in legal training and education. It has contributed to the training of officials and managers in the public as well as the private.
This experience enables it to promote postgraduate studies and provide the opportunity for his students to carry on sustainable research projects.
The Aims of the Program
1- To promote applied legal researchs in Saudi Arabia.
2- Ensure a postgraduate training to bachelors and qualified applicants.
3- To Intensify inferest in postgraduate research and legal studies.
4- Enhance the capacity of trainees in comparative analysis and provide them with skills and insights needed in order to adapt and codify the sharia' corpus .
