College of Law and Political Science at King Saud University is keen to take care  of all  academic and practical aspects in the field of general law with all branches and seeks  to accommodate  the developments and the human civilization generation  for new and advanced things in the law field  on domestic and international  domain , and with connecting all of these with community  circumstances and the development requirement taking into consideration  our Islamic values into consideration in  comparison with  other legal regulations  in order to prepare specialized legal  professionals with required experiences at different field , with contribution to develop the culture and legal awareness at the society .

 In a harmony with these general objectives  and to implement the same  into implementation , General Law Department  has establishment  in which its syllabus are associated with the general powers at the state ( organizational,  executive and judiciary )     and to regulate the relations between them and to determine the individuals rights and duties ,  to regulate the relations between the governmental and   individuals  when it is  authority and supremacy owner  and the way the government  and its regional  or utility bodies practice  its administrative activity , and its duties towards the individuals by providing the public services and showing  dispute resolution mechanism  where the government is a party ( Board of Grievances ) , determine the expenses , revenues  and general burdens at the community through  showing Zakkat , Taxes and Fees regulations  in addition to determine the relations between the government and other countries and international organizations

The employment opportunities of the department alumni

 Law students in general and general students in particular shall be given the chance  after graduation  for several employment opportunities at the legal field whether at the public sector or private one ,  the employment field available to the graduate are as follows

-         The employment at different legal department at all governmental departments and commissions

-          The private  employment in the field of legal consultations

-         Working at the legal profession .

-          Working at the investigation and general prosecution Commission.

-         Working at the private sector such as ( companies ,banks and private establishments )
