Membership:
A. Honor Membership:
It is granted to the person who is chosen by the society, those who offered moral or material services, or contributed in developing the fields of its interests inside and outside the kingdom. The membership of honor is chosen by a decision from the plenary meeting, according to the nomination of the administrative board, and exempted from the condition of paying up the registration and subscriptions fees. This member has the honor of attending the sessions of the plenary meeting and the different committees of the societies and participating in discussions without having a counted vote in issuing the decisions or holding elections.
B. Normal Membership:
It is for each person who fulfilled the conditions of membership mention in (5) who has a degree in the field of the society specialization, and it is a condition for the member to be a resident in KSA.
C. Outside KSA membership
It is for the person who wants the membership and is not a resident in KSA.
Conditions and procedures of the membership:
A member of the society should fulfill the following:
A. To be well behaved, having good reputation and has never been sentenced to a crime that is incompatible with decency and honor.
B. Has to pay what the society decides as fees and annual subscriptions.
C. The applicant, Normal Member or from outside KSA, has to apply for joining the society.
D. Two Normal Members in the society have to recommend him for the membership.
E. Normal and outside KSA applications are submitted to the administrative board of the society and the application is not considered accepted unless a decision from the administrative board is issued about that, and the applicant is informed.
The expiration of the membership:
The membership expires in the following cases:
A. Member's withdrawing.
B. The loss of any of the membership conditions.
C. The member's delay in paying the annual subscription on time and for one whole year. The membership is not canceled in this case until notifying the member of the necessity of paying up the subscription and the consequences of not doing so; the notification should be during the last three months of the mentioned year.
D. Any action or activity that may cause material or moral harm to the society, and before canceling the membership in this case, there must be an investigation made by the administrative board and the member is hold responsible.
In all cases mentioned in this article, the membership is not ended unless a decision is issued from the administrative board, and the member is informed with the decision of ending his membership within two weeks notification. The member doesn't the right to claim, in all cases, what he has paid as fees, subscriptions or donations, grants or anything else.
Restoring membership:
It is permitted to restore the membership for the one who lost it because of the reason mentioned in the section (c) from article (6) by a decision from the administrative board after having paid up the defaulting fees or the subscription fees for three years, the least between the two.
