History of Department

Although the department is just over 2 years old, we have established ourselves as one of the most reputable tourism and hospitality education provider in Saudi Arabia Kingdom. This is founded on our creative approaches to teaching and learning, the excellence of our research and consultancy projects as well as the strong relationship we have formed with the hospitality and tourism industry.  Our diverse range of courses make use of field trips, practical laboratory work, formal lectures, seminars, case studies and group projects to help students develop practical transferable skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication and organizational skills much needed for them to develop successful careers.  Staff and student involvement with the industry ensures that our program are up to date and remain relevant, thus providing our graduates with greater employment possibilities. This Department has been established to graduate qualified and motivated nationals to succeed as professionals in the tourism industry and take on the challenges facing tourism and hospitality management in the new millennium.
