The rapid development in the tourism sector requires numerous erudite and skillful managers in the aspects of planning, development and tourism management. Such managers are needed to enable the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia Kingdom to develop effectively so as to maximize the benefits and income from the industry. These managers must also be able to balance tourism growth and development with the need to mitigate negative economic, environmental and social impacts that could result from improperly planned and ill executed tourism activities.

In addition, as service industry tourism also needs skillful managers in the area of hospitality to cater for tourists' needs and wants while they are on site.

Bearing these needs in mind, the faculty aims to equip individuals to become knowledgeable and skillful managers in the field of tourism and hospitality. This is our contribution towards the aspirations of sustainable tourism in Saudi Arabia Kingdom
