Admission and Enrollment

       Every semester, the college announces the following rules for admission and enrollment:

Department

Equivalent Rate

Computer Science

85% and above

Physics

80% and above

Mathematics

80% and above

              Calculating Equivalent Rate

Rate=(High School GPA * 0.70) + (Assessment Test Achievement * 0.30)

 

Example: If the GPA is 86% and the test achievement is 75%, the equivalent rate will be as follows:

Equivalent Rate = (86 * 0.70) + (75 * 0.30) = 82.7

Requirements

(1) The original high school certificate with six copies
(2) A letter of clearance + six copies
(3) Identity card + two copies
(4) For non-Saudis (from Saudi mothers): the mother’s ID, Iqama, birth certificate, two copies of each document 
(5) For females: approval of the custodian 
(6) 4 photos (4x6): for males only
(7) For employees: employer’s nomination
(8 ) In case of attending other universities, students are required to provide their regis
(9) For ex-high school graduates: attendance documents in Saudi universities or other universities
 

Transfer to Al-Kharj College of Science
First: the Dean grants approval according to the following conditions:

1.The student must have studied in a recognized university or college.
2. Students must not have been expelled for educational or behavioral reasons.
3. Students must meet the transfer conditions identified by the college council.

Transferred students must study at least 60% of the units required for graduation at KSU.

 Second: the college council identifies the equivalent courses studied at the former university. Such course are not calculated in the accumulation average.

Third: if the college finds out that the student has been expelled due to educational or behavioral reasons, the student’s transcript will be cancelled.

Fourth: students should abide by the procedures and dates of transfer announced by the university.

 

Transfer from One College to Another

          First:  Students can transfer from one college to another after getting approvals of the Deans of both colleges in accordance with the rules and conditions suggested by the council of the new college.

      Second: credits will also transfer to the new college.

 

 

Transfer from one Department to Another

First: Students can transfer from one department to another after getting the Dean’s approval in accordance with the rules and conditions suggested by the college council.

Second: credits will also transfer to the new department.
