The Department of Mathematics is one of the largest departments in the College of Science and Humanities Al Kharj. The study Commenced in the Department in the year 1427 H (2006) with the establishment of the College. The Department teaches the math. Curriculums to students of all Departments in the University and also offers more than 30 different curriculums in the field of mathematics for the bachelors' degree level. The Department has three Majors namely: Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Algebra & Analysis. The jobs available to graduates of mathematics are many and varied, some of these are: Government agencies, such as: Department of Planning and Budget for the financial affairs follow-up. Various Sectors of the Armed Forces, Banks, Institutions, and Companies such as Saudi Arabian Airlines and Aramco. Work in the Ministry of Education in the field of teaching pre tertiary level.
