Masters Program

 

         Program entitled: Masters

        Program Objectives:

                            1. Providing the national, local, and charity sectors with  highly prepared professionals in different majors of special education in order to work in the following leading fields:
                       a. Administrative supervision at private institutions and programs.
                       b. Technical supervision at the evaluation and assessment team.
                       c. Technical supervision at team members administering the Individualized Educational, Rehabilitational and Remedial Plan.
                       d. Improving specialized knowledge and skills of students by being updated with recent research.
                       e. Encouraging students to live the reality of special education in all different settings in order to acknowledge problems and cases related and contribute in the solution. 
                       f. Encouraging theoretical bases application and scientific research skills and their various applicable methods in different special education areas.

         Masters Majors:

                                    • Mental Retardation
                                    • Deaf Education
                                    • Behavior Disorders
                                    • Learning Difficulties

       Requirements:

                                 1. A bachelor degree in special education .
                                 2. At least two years of practical experience in the educational field.
                                 3. Passing a written exam held by the Department.
                                 4. Passing an interview held by the Department.
                                 5. Having an advance level in English, through:
                                 a. A TOFEL score of 450
                                 b. An advanced course in English .

     Program of Study: annual courses including:
                                                                         • Courses for four academic semesters of 30 hours.
                                                                         • Dissertation of 6 hours.
