What is the English Language club?

It is a free environment of English; you find magazines, newspapers, videos, conversations, posters and games, all in English. And there you can use only English when you speak to the others.

Members can enjoy the process of learning English and communicate using it the way they like it: read, seen, spoken, or heard.

All the students in the preparatory year are members in this club, and everybody who likes English can join our club, too.

Objectives

Ø Help English learners break the barrier between them and English as a foreign language.

Ø Make it part of their daily life.

Ø Help them learn English away from the traditional ways used at schools and universities.

Ø Acquire English idioms and expressions without being taught.

Ø  Have them produce English instead of being just recipients.

Plans and Organization

Members are supposed to have their own collection of articles, books, magazines and newspapers which form their reading club. They are also going to have TVs and computers to watch videos and documentaries, and listen to programs, talks, and lectures. The general atmosphere of the club gives the impression as if one were in a native English-speaking society. You can have coffee and have friendly chats but, of course, not in Arabic.

Members of the club are also going to work together on a certain project.

This club is directed by a more experienced person to provide help and support and give help when needed.

Meeting with Dr:Taweeq (The Dean of Medicin)

Doctor Tawfeeq is asuccessful man,so all students were happy with him . He started his speech with kind worde for students,then he began telling them about what are they going to study next years,about their schedule and subject in Medicine.He also explained the rules of exams,he refered to style of studying,too.He said : The subjects agree with new medicine education .After that, he finished with encourage statements for students .He described the students as future doctors, and he advised them to study hard and to be patient .Fanally, the students took the permission to ask him questions .They asked about the place of studying , the required average ,the hospital visits .He reolyed to all questions .He told them about small book contains som usefull things for them.then the meeting was over .The students were glad
